In men's football, SAVCE secured a convincing 2 - 0 victory over BACE. The women's football team also rose to the occasion, recording a hard-fought 1 - 0 win. The success story of Savannah College of Education extends beyond the sporting arena.

The institution was established through the collective efforts and commitment of stakeholders across the Savannah Region.

The vision to establish the college was spearheaded by the Principal, Dr. Musah Ibrahim M. Ekpampo, in 2021.

That same year, efforts commenced to secure accreditation and integrate the institution into the mainstream public college system. Although the process began in 2021, full completion was not achieved until 2025.

The journey required years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment from numerous stakeholders, led by Dr. Ekpampo, whose leadership played a pivotal role in turning the dream into reality.

The college's outstanding performance in these friendly games serves as yet another testament to the progress, determination, and growing stature of Savannah College of Education. It reflects not only success on the field of play but also the resilience and vision that have shaped the institution's remarkable journey.
